RP60AUMe

Image: RP60AUMe

Compact motor module for 230V A/C motors. (115V A/C available if required)

Universal mount allows placement in many locations, and allows for maximum job site flexibility. Installations could range from a single gang junction box to large central panels that are custom built for an individual project.

The 60 programmable channels provide a one touch control of individual motors, sub-groups of motors or ALL motors.

Programmable features include:

Programmable Features of the RP60AUMe
60 Programmable addresses
6 Programmable Group addresses: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Groups.
All channel address (can be turned off if needed)
“Sequential action” channel
“Specific stop” channel
Maintained or Momentary latching Action for motor relay
Reverse motor direction via programming
“Sticky” feature – when enabled, a 2nd push of a directional button will not stop the motor, and the action is always maintained. Sticky can be used on a Main address, Group address and ALL
Fast IR response for momentary style window treatments
X-10 Timing on manual switch inputs
“Intermediate Stops” – automatically position a shade to a defined position, stopping at an intermediate location within the window. Intermediate stops can be used when the close or open direction is pressed, and that address can be a Main Address, a Group Address, ALL, or the Manual inputs. The location of an “Intermediate Stop” is measured as a percentage of travel from the open limit. The RP60AUMe unit is the only control with this ability. A Calibration cycle must be completed to enable intermediate stops. There are 4 intermediate stops
Lamp Control. RP60AUMe can be enabled to control a lighting fixture. Run time is off and power is continually applied
Magnetic Switch as an Override – allows for inputs from a magnetic reed switch to be used as on override allowing you to “Lock-Out” control of a motor when a window or door is open
“Dead Beat Timer” – when turned on: allows a control to operate a total of 120 operations only. When 120 operations have been completed, a shade will only lower. To reset or turn off the “Dead Beat Timer” a programming sequence must be completed
Wind Input – allows for Wind Sensor to be the source of a button press. When a wind event is seen, the RP60 can Open or Close the window covering or awning, re-sampling every 4.5 minutes for the presence of wind. Should wind drop below the set threshold and the timer expire, you can either leave the shade in its new position or return to its original position.
Configurable manual inputs – select and use any type and style wall switch available. Somfy Decorator switches will work well also
Auto Tilt – Should you wish to have RP60 AUMe tilt a Venetian Blind, you can set AUTO TILT allowing for 4 intermediate stop positions, with high accuracy
Reset to Factory Default Feature
Reset everything BUT the Main address to factory Default

Factory Default Settings:

Main Channel 1
Group Channels off,
Maintained latching of relays,
SPDT manual input,
Standard output motor directions,
“ALL” enabled,
Standard button press response time (slow),
Special manual input modes disabled,
Sticky feature enabled on ALL, disabled elsewhere

RP60DU

Image: RP60DU

Compact DC motor control module for 12VDC to 24VDC motors.

Universal mount allows for placement in many locations and allows for maximum job site flexibility. Installations could range from a single gang junction box, a location in a head-rail or even large central panels that are custom built for a project.

60 programmable channels: provides one-touch control of individual motors, sub-groups of motors or all motors.

Programmable features include:
Load sensing
Maintained or Momentary motor action
SPDT and SPST manual switch input, or X-10 control
Intermediate stops are user defined
Dead Beat timer feature
Magnetic Reed Switch as an over-ride
Wind features for any application

Commands can be sent to an RP60DU from many sources such as:
RS232 systems, i.e. Creston Vantage, Lutron, AMX, Clipsal etc.
IP sources
IR & RF remote Transmitters
IR & RF Key Pads
Standard Wall Switches (any type)
Dry Contacts (any type)

RP60ABM

Image: RP60ABM

“Plug and Play Box” with inbuilt RP60AUMeand Low Voltage Trigger connection This simple part allows low voltage from a power source (*6VDC to 24VDC) to act as a trigger to cause a 230V product to operate in one direction when power is applied. And in the opposite direction when power is removed from the trigger. (i.e. Projector Screen)

NB: while the part is tested and supported for an input voltage range of 6 to 24 VDC, there is a high likelihood it will perform in satisfactorily in most conditions on as little as 5VDC input.

Functioning as a “Programmable Switch Interface” the PSIB can take any Dry contact and turn it into a much more powerful RP Bus command.
Two switch inputs for greater application potential.

ISO relays

Image: ISO Relays.jpg

Jobs do not always get wired correctly, this is a fact!
ISO was created to be a tiny part that allows us to install it into a single gang box, along with all the necessary wires to parallel multiple motors together.

ISO 4 relay

Motor Output
Ground to all 4 motors plus input
ISO 4 is a product that gives great economy to projects when needed. Remember – Isolation relays mean the programmable flexibility of a system ill become limited to a group of 4 motors.

RP60ASM-B

Image: RP60ASM-B

Combination Motor Control with Sun and Wind/Motion sensing in an external enclosure.

Motion Sensor (AMD) is attached to the awning lead rail and allows protection based on the actual motion of the awning and not relying on wind cups.

This system is easy to install and totally programme with the DSK-S/W switch

Combination switches, for the control of Sun and Wind/Motion sensing, it is also used for the programming of the motors.

Double gang switch with the four buttons on the first switch that extends/stops/retracts exterior shading systems and also allows the sun control to be enabled/disabled. The second switch is a bi-directional feedback display, reporting current status of both Sun and Wind. This switch also allows the setting of both the Sun and Wind levels.
